About Our Parish

Welcome to St. Luke Catholic Parish!

You are invited to join the rest of your Catholic neighbors in Northwest El Paso.

Bishop Raymundo Peña established St. Luke's on July 1, 1992.  We moved to Redd Road in June, 1994, after meeting first at Polk Elementary and Hornedo Middle Schools.

Msgr. John Peters led the community of St. Luke for 16 years, from 1992 until his retirement in 2008.  Fr. Edilberto Lopez ("Fr. Beto") provided us with spiritual guidance and nourishment through June, 2017. Fr. Marcus McFadin has been guiding us on our faith journey since July, 2017.

The Parish Hall served as our all-purpose building, offering space for celebrating Mass, offering Religious Formation classes and providing meeting rooms for parish organizations.  The Parish Offices were completed in January, 1998. We celebrated the First Sunday of Advent in 2001, in the Sanctuary, which was consecrated in March, 2002.  The Catechetical Center and Rosary Courtyard were completed by the end of 2008, and most recently, renovation of the Parish Hall kitchen and construction of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel and meeting rooms, as well as the addition of the Baptismal Font at the entrance of the Church took place.
